Priya (Kareena Kapoor) adalah orang yang romantis dan memimpikan pasangan hidup. Amit (Shahid Kapoor) adalah benar-benar kebalikan dari apa yang diimpikan oleh Priya. Dia peminum alkohol yang handal, pembohong dan perokok hebat. Dunia mereka berbenturan saat Amit mendapat buku harian Priya. Dia segera menggunakan informasi bagaimana cara merayu Priya buku harian tersebut.

Priya (Kareena Kapoor) is a romantic at heart who dreams of a goodie-two-shoes for a life partner. Amit (Shahid Kapoor) is totally opposite of what Priya’s dream man is like. He drinks alcohol like a fish, lies on the slightest pretext and is a chain smoker. Their worlds collide when Amit gets his hands on Priya's diary by chance. He promptly uses the information gleaned from Priya’s diary to woo her.
